Sports Nutritionist:

Rebecca McConville

Rebecca McConville, MS, RD, LD, is a registered and licensed dietitian.  She is a consultant and team Dietitian for the Kansas City Chiefs.  Rebecca is also the University of Missouri Kansas City's ahtlethic department's sports nutritionist.  She is a member of the Kansas City Dietetic Association, the American Dietetic Association (ADA), the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the ADA's SCAN (Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition) group.  Rebecca is also certified in adult and pediatric weight management by the Academy.  She attended the University of Kansas Medical School and earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Central Missouri.  Rebecca obtained her Master's in Nutrition and Dietetics while doing her internship at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

If you want to "set" yourself up for performance then nutrition is a must.

7. Putting it all together at tournament time

8. What are the best choices for snacks

3. Nutrition on the go - pre-match, during and after

4. Tips to find those power-fueled foods at the grocery store

5. Providing those foods for game day or tournament time

6. Monitoring your child for signs of dehydration, poor nutrition
